Preview: Live Band and Food Trucks on El Molino
See what live band and food trucks you can find at this week's Thursday Nights on El Molino event. Are you going?
Pasadenans don’t have to go far to enjoy an array of popular gourmet food trucks and live music, thanks to the weekly Thursday Nights on El Molino event that goes through November.
Folks can walk a short stretch of El Molino Avenue between Colorado Boulevard and Green Street and grab coffee at Zona Rosa Caffe, sit for a glass at Monopole Wine, take a gander inside Little Junebugs children’s store, or also sip wine on the Pasadena Playhouse’s outdoor patio. Food trucks rotate every week and park at the curb next to Zona Rosa, whose charming alley acts as a venue for live bands.
This week’s installment of Thursday Nights on El Molino will include the following food trucks from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., according to Zona Rosa’s event page on facebook: DOSA truck (South Indian food like crepe wraps and samosas), Fry Girl (French fries, mini donuts and more with a gourmet twist), Nom Nom Truck (a popular Vietnamese truck that won runner-up on the first season of Food Network’s Great Food Truck Race) and Kogi Truck (the Korean taco truck that started the Los Angeles gourmet food truck craze).
