Public Invited to Talk About Affordable Care Act
The panel discussion will be 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Pasadena Central Library.

The Affordable Care Act will be the focus of a panel discussion Thursday afternoon at the Pasadena Central Library, and the public is being invited to attend.
For those who can't make it in person, KPAS, the city’s government cable access TV station, will record the event for broadcast. It can be seen on Channel 3 for Cox subscribers and Channel 99 for AT&T U-Verse subscribers, according to the city. You can also find it streaming on the media page of the city website and on the KPAS website.
According to the city, among the panelists will be Dr. Eric Walsh, Pasadena's Public Health Department director, as well as:

- Steven Abramson, Marketing Manager of CHAPCare, who will discuss Medi-Cal Expansion and the State Marketplace Exchange (Covered California);
- Rosalie Garcia, Executive Director at URDC Human Services Corporation (Bill Moore Health Clinic), who will address the need to provide health care services for those who do not qualify for insurance;
- Mary Donnelly-Crocker, Executive Director of Young & Healthy, who will review available community resources and assistance to implement health reform in Pasadena," according to a release from the city.
Thursday's discussion takes place from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Donald Wright Auditorium at the Central Library (285 E. Walnut St.). If you miss it, there's another discussion at the same place on Oct. 24 from 7 to 8 p.m.
