Raymond Restaurant & 1886 Bar Closed for Kitchen Renovations

The historic Raymond Restaurant has redone its patio and added the well-received 1886 Bar in recent years, but now it’s time to update the kitchen.

The Raymond and 1886 Bar will be closed for three weeks while they renovate and expand their 35-year-old kitchen.

“We have been very limited in the kitchen previously and this full-kitchen renovation and expansion will allow my entire kitchen team to expand their skills and we can finally take the next steps towards refinement and being the best we can be at The Raymond & 1886 Bar,” executive chef Tim Guiltinan said in a statement.

The Raymond and 1886 Bar will re-open April 22 for Pasadena Restaurant Week.

The following week, the Raymond hopes to unveil its new dining menu as 1886 Bar reveals its spring cocktail menu.
