Redwhite+bluezz Launches New Orleans-Inspired Brunch

Crawfish, chicken and waffles and other New Orleans standards now accompany Sunday jazz at the Pasadena restaurant and live music venue.

Pasadena’s redwhite+bluezz (70 South Raymond Avenue), where your meal can come with a side of jazz, just got jazzier.

The eatery launched NOLA Brunch & All That Jazz, a New Orleans-inspired brunch, on Sunday and Southern chef Lindsey Peoples’ menu may inspire you to wear pants with plenty of stretch should you check out the decadent affair.

Staples like biscuits and gravy and crawfish po’ boy are on the menu, plus sweet classics like beignets—warm, fluffy clouds topped with powdered sugar that everyone should try before they die—and bananas foster pancakes. Shrimp & grits, chicken & waffles, banana pudding and other offerings could have you singing along to the live jazz in a Southern accent in no time.

But if you need any liquid courage, bottomless champagne, mimosas and beer plus jugs of rum punch, spicy bloody marys and other libations are also on hand.

The Sunday brunch goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and the live NOLA jazz takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
