Tennis: Maranatha High Advances

Maranatha High School's boys tennis team snagged key victories from its typically strong doubles teams Monday, but it was also singles competition that helped in its Monday matchup against Citrus Valley to secure Maranatha's place in the CIF Southern Section Division V semifinals, according to a story in the Pasadena Sun.

The man in singles for Maranatha was Stephane Splichal, who won two singles matches. Maranatha will host Santa Fe at 3 p.m. Wednesday.
