Pasadena Restaurants Serve Needy a Gourmet Thanksgiving Lunch

Employees from Kings Row Gastropub, redwhite+bluezz and Dog Haus put their culinary skills to work to serve the less fortunate at Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena Wednesday.

While many of us will have Thanksgiving leftovers for days, there are also many people who worry about where their Thanksgiving meal will come from in the first place.

On Wednesday, some Pasadena restaurants helped about 200 people at Union Station Homeless Services in Pasadena have a gourmet Thanksgiving lunch.

Kings Row Gastropub, redwhite+bluezz and Dog Haus served up a meal that included:

  • Jambalaya over rice
  • Creamed corn bread with apple, bacon and swiss chard
  • Roasted golden baby beets with panzanella dressing
  • Granny Smith apples and spring mix
  • Pumpkin bread pudding with brown butter ice cream
