Thanksgiving Food: Where to Get it Last Minute

If you’re not planning to slave away in the kitchen all day for Thanksgiving or perhaps need a little help with a dish or two, Pasadena spots have come to the rescue and there’s still a bit of time to get your order in before the deadline!

Real Food Daily

Real Food Daily is taking orders until Tuesday at noon for unique Thanksgiving offerings that are organic, vegan and gluten-free. Corn sage stuffing, garnet yams with marshmallows, pumpkin pie, faux turkey breast and more are on the menu, or you can just order a dessert.

You can order a traditional full holiday meal, just the sides or just the turkey.

The Arroyo store is taking orders until Wednesday and is open until 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving if you want to fight for what’s left on the shelves.

Tender Greens Pies

“You can't have Thanksgiving without pie!” Tender Greens exclaims on its facebook page. It’s hard to argue with that statement. Tender Greens locations, including the one in Pasadena (621 Colorado Blvd.), are taking orders for 9-inch holiday pies through Tuesday night. Choose from apple, pecan, pumpkin, chocolate mousse, sweet potato and caramel apple. Call 626-405-1511 to order.

Dots Cupcakes

If you want to have your cake and eat your pie too, you can try cupcakes in flavors like sweet potato pie, pumpkin pie, apple pie and more. The Dots location on Arroyo will be open Thanksgiving Day but orders of one dozen or more require 24 hours notice.
