Twin Palms Sneak Peek Happening at Make Music Pasadena

The popular Pasadena restaurant and live music venue has had plans to reopen under new ownership since last year.

Over seven months after new Twin Palms owner Sam Khachatrian told Patch about his plans to reopen the shuttered dining and entertainment venue, the revamped spot is giving the public an anticipated “sneak peek” Saturday during free music festival Make Music Pasadena.

Twin Palms shared the news and updates on its facebook page, adding that various bands will take to the Twin Palms stage during the sneak peek:

"Don't forget to stop by TWIN PALMS June 1st during the Make Music Pasadena Festival-- we are opening our doors for a "small" sneak peek from noon til 10pm. While we won't have table service, we will be offering a few menu items and cocktails. See you then!"

The Make Music Pasadena performances slated for Twin Palms are:
5 p.m. Raspin
7 p.m. The Well Pennies
8 p.m. Tracorum
9 p.m. Salt Petal

A notable team has come together for the resurrected spot on the corner of Green Street and DeLacey Avenue. Eric Espuny, former general manager and sommelier at the Langham Huntington Hotel’s Royce restaurant, is Twin Palms’ general manager, Patch previously shared.

As for the kitchen, former Drago Centro chef Michael Neflas has been hired on, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Khackatrian previously told Patch he planned to open in January 2013 and then in spring, but now a summer soft opening is on the horizon, the Times reported.
