The break in the cast iron main was reported at 11:30 a.m. on Altadena Drive between Queensberry Road and Cooley Place, said Wendy De Leon, customer service manager with Pasadena Water and Power.
Altadena Drive was expected to remain closed throughout the night and service was expected to be back to normal sometime Saturday morning, De Leon said.
