Woman Beaten To Death In Pasadena Parking Lot, Killer At Large

PASADENA, CA — A 69-year-old woman was found beaten to death in a parking lot in Pasadena Sunday and authorities were searching for her killer, a police lieutenant said.

The woman's body was found in the parking lot at 50 Alessandro Place near a medical building just before 3 p.m., said Pasadena police Lt. Mark Goodman said.

"The woman had been assaulted physically," Goodman said. "Paramedics were called and pronounced the woman dead at the scene."

Her name was withheld pending family notification.

Goodman said police were investigating the death as a homicide.

No suspect information was made available and the investigation was ongoing, Goodman said.
