3 Sonoma County Family Members Killed In Nebraska Plane Crash
The pilot and two passengers— all from Sonoma County — died on impact when their private plane crashed near the Chadron, Nebraska airport.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Three family members from Sonoma County died Wednesday when their
small plane crashed just north of Chadron, Nebraska, according to the Dawes County Attorney's Office. Damon Brown, 61, and Sarah Brown, 68, both of Sebastopol, and Duncan Brown, 25, of Forestville, were all killed in the crash.
Initial investigation of the scene and witness statements led local authorities to believe the pilot and two passengers were killed on impact when their private plane crashed near the Chadron airport.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration's incident notification, the plane, a Beech 55 aircraft, crashed at 2:46 p.m. local time.

The crash is under investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA.
