Arrest Made In Hit-And-Run Near Gas Station, Petaluma Police Say

A juvenile was injured in the collision on East Washington Street, police said.

PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma police arrested a Santa Rosa woman Wednesday afternoon on
suspicion of hit-and-run. Lindsay Williams, 32, was leaving a Chevron gas station at 1510 E.
Washington St. when she struck a vehicle that was traveling east on E. Washington Street around 5:15 p.m., police said.

A juvenile in the victim's vehicle suffered minor injuries and was treated and released at Petaluma Valley Hospital, police said.

Officers searched the area for Williams' vehicle that sustained major front-end damage and found it traveling north on Sonoma Mountain Parkway. Williams was stopped and arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run.

Police said Williams was on probation for DUI and driving with a suspended license. Alcohol and narcotics do not appear to be a factor in the collision, police said.
