Big Rig Stuck In Ditch, Blocks Trinity Road Near State Highway 12

The roadway was completely shut down north of Glen Ellen as a tow truck crew worked to removed the semi-truck.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Trinity Road was completely shut down Monday morning near state Highway 12 by a semi truck described as too big for the road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Around 9:45 a.m., CHP reported that part of the big rig was in a ditch on Trinity Road just east of SR-12, north of Glen Ellen and west of the Sonoma-Napa County Line.

Only a 3-foot section of roadway was open, so drivers were reportedly directed to use the shoulder to get around the truck.
