The CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive Needs Petaluma Donations

The program needs toys and gifts for kids ages 12 and older, who are often overlooked during the holiday season.

PETALUMA, CA -- It's the holiday season, and CHiPs for Kids, a California Highway Patrol charity program is in need of donations.

On Tuesday Dec. 13 CHiPs for Kids will collect toys and check child car seats at Kmart on North McDowell Blvd. in Petaluma, from 10 am to 4 pm.

The CHiPs for Kids program collects and distributes toys and gifts for kids in need during the holiday season. In particular, the organization's looking for gifts for kids, 12 and older, who often get overlooked.

Donations can be dropped off at the CHP office in Rohnert Park, any DMV office, or at the State Building at 50 D St. in Santa Rosa.
