Heavy rains Tuesday will give way to subfreezing temperatures on Thanksgiving in parts of the North Bay, the National Weather Service says.
NORTH BAY, CA — Heavy rains Tuesday will give way to subfreezing temperatures on Thanksgiving in parts of the North Bay, the National Weather Service warned.
A cold front will cause temperatures to drop down into the lower-40 or mid-30 degree range starting Tuesday night, with wind gusts up to 45 miles per hour, according to the NWS forecast.
A wind advisory was issued along the Sonoma County coast from 4 p.m. Tuesday until 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Wednesday brings a chance of rain and thunderstorms, and temperatures will continue to drop Wednesday night, with lows in the upper 20s to lower 40s.
Thanksgiving day is forecast to be rain-free for now, but temperatures will drop as low as the mid-20s Thursday night, the NWS says. After a warm and sunny Friday, more rain is possible over the weekend.
