Coronavirus: CVS Waives Delivery Fees For Meds In Petaluma

CVS Pharmacies is providing free home delivery of prescription meds amid precautions regarding the new coronavirus.

PETALUMA, CA — CVS Health announced Monday that beginning immediately, the drugstore chain will "waive charges for home delivery of prescription medication," including from locations in Petaluma, to protect patients' access to their medications as the new coronavirus continues to spread.

"With the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encouraging people at higher risk for COVID-19 complications to stay at home as much as possible, this is a convenient option to avoid coming to the pharmacy for refills of prescriptions," CVS said in a news release.

"This is particularly true in times of uncertainty. The latest steps we're taking will help ensure patients of all ages have every option available to them when it comes to filling prescriptions."
