Duo Steals Wallet From 95-Year-Old Woman Shopping In Petaluma: PD

The two suspects then used the elderly woman's credit cards to purchase $1,600 worth of gift cards, police said.

PETALUMA, CA — Police in Petaluma are looking for two men who allegedly stole a 95-year-old woman's wallet and purchased $1,600 worth of gift cards with the stolen credit cards. The victim was reportedly shopping Friday afternoon at Safeway, 389 South McDowell Blvd., when the suspects took the wallet from inside her purse in the shopping cart without being noticed, police said.

The suspects were then caught on surveillance in Target at 401 Kenilworth Drive, where they bought the gift cards, according to police.

Both suspects are described as Hispanic males between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds.
