Ferry To Offer 4th Of July Late-Night Shuttle To Sonoma County
There will be special ferry service Sunday for people who went to the fireworks show in San Francisco and need to get back to the North Bay.

NORTH BAY, CA — Rides on Golden Gate Transit and Marin Transit buses and Golden Gate Ferry will be free Saturday through Monday to encourage people celebrating the Fourth of July holiday to use public transit.
There will also be special ferry service Sunday for people who went to the fireworks show in San Francisco and need to get back to the North Bay.
Golden Gate Transit will offer free shuttles between the San Rafael Transit Center and Larkspur Ferry Terminal before and after all ferry trips Sunday as well as special shuttles after the return of the late-night ferry trip to Larkspur that will go to the Canal neighborhood in San Rafael, Novato, and Sonoma County.

The free ferry trips also extend to Golden Gate Ferry's service to Oracle Park for the San Francisco Giants' 3:05 p.m. game Monday, according to the agency.
Face masks are still required for trips on Marin Transit and Golden Gate buses and ferries. For ferry schedules on the three holiday weekend days, people can visit 4th-july-free-ride-schedule. Bus schedules can be found at Goldengate.org and Marintransit.org.
