Caltrans will close both directions of U.S. Highway 101 near Petaluma on Friday night as part of two interchange construction projects.Â
Northbound Highway 101 at the Kastania Road over-crossing will be closed from 11:59 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday, according to Caltrans officials.

Northbound traffic will exit at a temporary off-ramp to Petaluma Boulevard South and return to northbound Highway 101 at the Petaluma Boulevard South on-ramp.Â
Southbound Highway 101 will close Friday at 11 p.m. until 6 a.m. Saturday. Motorists should take state Route 116/Lakeville Highway to state Highway 37 and continue south to Highway 101.
