Johnny Doughnuts Opens First Sonoma County Store In Santa Rosa

It marks the fourth Johnny Doughnuts in the Bay Area for the San Rafael-based purveyor of classic, vegan and wheat-free doughy goodness.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA— Johnny Doughnuts' custom-built doughnut trucks have been known to frequent local farmers' markets and private events in Sonoma County, so area residents may already be familiar with its delectable fare.

The even better news: over Mother's Day weekend, Johnny Doughnuts made a permanent expansion into Sonoma County with the opening of its Santa Rosa store.

Johnny Doughnuts opened its flagship store in 2013 in San Rafael; in addition to San Francisco and Larkspur, the Sonoma County location marks its fourth in the Bay Area.

The store's menu includes the full range of Johnny Doughnut flavors customers have come to know and love: doughnuts, crodoughs, cinnamon rolls, apple fritters and more — all made from classic doughs adapted from the 1920s topped with unique, seasonal flavors and glazes. There are also vegan and wheat-free options.

Further, Johnny Doughnuts' local Mill Valley-based partner, Equator Coffee, has agreed to supply its organic coffees at the Santa Rosa location. Because what's a doughnut without coffee?
