Pumpkin Season Arrives In Petaluma, North Bay: PHOTOS
Families enjoyed mild weather over the weekend at local pumpkin patches such as the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch and Pronzini Pumpkin Patch.
PETALUMA, CA — Prime pumpkin-picking season has arrived in the North Bay. The fires two years ago and rainy weather have disrupted festivities at area pumpkin patches, but not this year.
Venues such as Pronzini Pumpkin Patch east of Petaluma, Stanly Lane Pumpkin Patch in south Napa and the Petaluma Pumpkin Patch adjacent to U.S. Highway 101 were packed over the weekend, Oct. 12-13, with families and guests of all ages.
The Petaluma Pumpkin Patch, 450 Stony Point Road, has a corn maze, a cornbox (instead of sandbox) and more fall festivities. Petaluma Pumpkin Patch is open daily at 10 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 6 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.
