PETALUMA, CA — The 10th annual Rivertown Revival festival celebrating the city and the Petaluma River runs from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday. The celebration includes live music, creative boats on the water, local food and drink, local vendors and artisans, a variety show, and a play area for kids.
The festival benefits Friends of the Petaluma River. The festival draws costumed attendees who relish assuming another persona if only for a warm summer day.
The eco-friendly festival in Steamer Landing Park at D and Copeland streets on the McNear Peninsula uses reused, recycled and repurposed materials, and attendees, who dress as unique and exotic characters, are requested to bring their own drinking water.
