The couple is visiting from the North Pole, with plans to cruise the Petaluma River and Downtown Petaluma on Saturday, Nov. 28.

PETALUMA, CA — Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus are coming to town Saturday! The couple is visiting from the North Pole, with plans to cruise the Petaluma River and Downtown Petaluma on Nov. 28.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will cruise the Petaluma River starting at 11 a.m.. Their boat will pass the Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country before continuing south and reaching Shollenberger Park at 11:30 a.m.

From Shollenberger, Santa's boat turns north and sails toward the Turning Basin, where it will arrive around noon. Community members are encouraged to give a big shoutout to Santa and Mrs. Claus as they make a couple of loops in the Turning Basin.

And since Santa and Mrs. Claus are all about the perfect gift, where better to find them than in Downtown Petaluma's boutiques and specialty shops?!

So while residents are shopping locally this Small Business Saturday, they should also be on the lookout for Santa and Mrs. Claus. We're told the jolly couple will be cruising through the Downtown District from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in a yellow 1964 Mustang convertible. (Shhh... don't tell Rudolph! They do love him and the other reindeer, as well as their sleigh, but the Mustang is one sweet ride!)
