Supplies Needed At Petaluma Evacuation Centers

Supplies for people and pets are needed at six shelters for Kincade Fire evacuees in Petaluma.

PETALUMA, CA — Six shelters for evacuees from the Kincade Fire in northern Sonoma County on Monday are full and need supplies. New blankets, pillows and towels are needed for the nearly 1,500 evacuees in the city's shelters.

Animal supplies, including leashes, harnesses, cat litter and scoopers, litter trays, crates and beds also are needed. They may be dropped off at the Kenilworth Recreation Center at 150 Fairgrounds Drive.

The shelters are the New Life Christian Fellowship, 1315 Rand St.; Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds, 175 Fairgrounds Drive; Petaluma Veterans Memorial Building, 1094 Petaluma Blvd. S.; Petaluma Valley Baptist Church, 580 Sonoma Mountain Parkway; Petaluma Community Center, 320 N. McDowell Blvd. and Calvary Chapel Petaluma at 1955 S. McDowell Blvd.
