Tip-A-Cop & Support Special Olympics This Evening In Petaluma
The Thursday evening event is at Applebee's on Old Redwood Highway.
PETALUMA, CA – Petaluma police officers will help serve guests at an Applebee's restaurant today to raise money for the Special Olympics of Northern California.
They will be at the Applebee's restaurant at 5301 Old Redwood Highway from 5-9 p.m. The donations diners leave at the table will benefit more than 19,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities in Northern California.
The Special Olympics is a year-round sports training and competition program in 12 sports for children and adults. Tip A Cop is part of the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run fundraising event for the Special
Olympics.
