PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma police advised the public Friday afternoon to avoid Cader Lane and South McDowell Boulevard because of a traffic collision.

The crash south of Lakeville Highway was causing major traffic congestion as of 4:15 p.m. Friday, police said.
