CHP Searching For Shooter on I-80 Near Oakland
A driver pulled up next to another car, pointed a gun and the woman and shot out of his car. CHP need anyone with information to call.

PINOLE, CA- California Highway Patrol is asking for public assistance in tracking down a suspect of a drive-by shooting on I-80 near Oakland.
On Tuesday evening at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to a report of a passenger in a vehicle discharging a firearm on eastbound I-80 near Richmond Parkway.
According to CHP report, a woman was driving her vehicle in the eastbound I-80 near Richmond Parkway, when a green Toyota pulled alongside her right side in the next lane.

A Hispanic male, seated in the left rear passenger seat, reportedly rolled down his window and pointed a firearm at the woman; then pointed the firearm into the air and fired multiple rounds.
The green Toyota then fled the scene.

No injuries or damage to property resulted from this incident, but CHP is asking anyone who may have witnessed this incident to call 707-551-4100.
