City Of Hercules Launches Safety Element/Hazard Mitigation Survey
The City of Hercules is inviting residents to participate in a safety survey that it has launched as part of a new hazard mitigation plan.
HERCULES, CA -- Have some thoughts and ideas about safety and hazard mitigation? Then the City of Hercules wants to hear from you.
The City of Hercules is updating the safety element of the city's general municipal plan, and simultaneously authoring a new hazard mitigation plan, and is inviting residents to participate in an online safety and hazards survey to gauge the public's understanding of citywide hazards, to identify ways the city might educate the public on hazards, and to guide the development of hazard policies and programs.
The city has a 16-question survey online asking residents safety and hazard-related questions, such as if you've ever experienced natural hazards like drought, earthquakes or flooding, and your level of concern regarding non-natural hazards, such as terrorism, industrial accidents, oil/gas spills and active shooters.
