Earthquake Hits Near Vallejo

The earthquake struck just south of Vallejo around noon on Saturday.

CROCKETT, CA — A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck near Crockett just before noon on Saturday, according to the United States Geological Survey.

The quake hit less than a mile north northwest of Crockett.

The 3.7 magnitude quake was followed by a 2.7 magnitude temblor about five minutes later in the same area.

Both quakes hit just south of Vallejo.

Via USGS's self-reporting tool, residents as far north as Sonoma reported feeling the quake. Further south, residents reported feeling the quake in Alameda and San Francisco.

Early Saturday morning, an 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck Tres Pinos in Monterey County.
