Firefighter Helmet Cam Gives Rare First Hand View

PINOLE, CA- Fire crews from Pinole FD gave social media a rare glimpse at the work the do on a daily basis.

Check out helmet cam footage of roof operations and vertical ventilation during a residential structure fire on Viewpiont Blvd. in Rodeo on March 26.

The post explains that the footage shows the difficulty in roof operations that firefighters encountered due metal roofing over original wood shake shingles.

Officials note that the helmet cam battery died before vertical ventilation was completed.
