FREE Lynx Service for Opening of the Salesforce Transit Ctr in SF

WestCAT will operate "special" Lynx bus service from the Hercules Transit Center to the San Francisco Temporary Transbay Terminal on Saturday, August 11, 2018 to allow our riders the opportunity to attend the grand opening/block party for the beautiful and innovative new Salesforce Transit Center. The first FREE Lynx bus leaves for San Francisco at 10:00 AM from the Hercules Transit Center. The FREE bus runs every hour, with the last leaving for the City at 4:00 PM. We will not be able to take riders directly into the new Transit Center that day, as it will not be open for passengers, but the Temporary Terminal is within short walking distance of the new transit center (about 3 blocks). See the attached flyer for the map and timetables. No fare will be charged on the Lynx that day, so bring your family and friends and come enjoy all of the opening day festivities.

There will be food and drink vendors, music, games and fun activities for the entire family, as well as a tour of the new Transit Center. The event starts at Noon and goes until 4:00 PM. The last FREE Lynx bus from the Temporary Transbay Terminal will leave at 5:00 PM for the Hercules Transit Center.
