Officers responded to the area of Hercules Avenue and Village Parkway for a 911 call with screaming heard in the background. Officers contacted an 18-year-old Richmond woman, who said that she and her ex-boyfriend, 19, had an argument while exchanging cars. After he had taken her rental car, a 2010 white Toyota Camry, she went to his mother’s house in Richmond, took his car and brought it to Hercules. During the attempt to exchange the cars, they became involved in a heated argument. The male opened the Toyota’s car door striking the woman and knocking her to the ground. He put the car in reverse and ran over her leg. She sustained abrasions to her face and arms and unknown injuries to her leg and was transported to a hospital. Several of her friends witnessed the incident and provided statements. Area checks for the suspect and the Toyota, license plate 6KHN297, were done at his residence in Hercules and his mother’s residence in Richmond and he was not located.
