Future of Hercules' Civic Arts Building To Be Discussed Thursday
At 7 p.m. at City Hall, the city will discuss whether or not to sell the building.
What will happen to Hercules’ Civic Arts building?
The question about the city-owned property will be the subject of a community meeting Thursday at 7 p.m. at Hercules City Hall.
It is currently occupied by financially-struggling Sala Restaurant, and the city has to decide whether to hold onto it or sell it, possibly for civic use, the San Jose Mercury News reports.
The Hercules Redevelopment Agency has already invested more than $1.6 million in order to acquire the building and refurbish it so it could host a restaurant.
