
HERCULES, CA- Police are investigating reports of shots fired in Hercules last weekend that resulted in 10 shell casings being found but no one reported injured.
Officers responded at 10:54 p.m. Saturday to a report of several gunshots on Miramar Avenue and were contacted by a witness who said he heard the gunfire then looked out a window and saw a white sedan speed away west on Refugio Valley Road, according to police.
Officers found 10 9mm shell casings on the end of Miramar Avenue extending into the westbound lanes of Refugio Valley Road, police said.

No injuries were reported and no bullet holes were located in any nearby homes. Anyone who may have information about the case is asked to call Hercules police at (510) 799-8260.
