HERCULES, CA — A call from a Hercules resident last week reporting a suspicious truck parked on Grenadine Way led to the recovery of the stolen vehicle and the arrest of a 35-year-old female, the Hercules Police Department said.

The local gave the license plate number to the dispatch department when calling Thursday around 1 p.m., and the tags proved a match for a 2016 Toyota Tundra logged as stolen earlier that day out of Martinez, police said.

Officers arrested the woman on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle and taking a vehicle without the owner's consent.
