Hercules Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, Volunteers Needed for Community Clean Up Day

HERCULES, CA- The City of Hercules released an upcoming events list in this week's City Manager's report. Don't miss these fun things to do in town.

Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza – Saturday, March 26, from 10:00am-1:00pm, at the Foxboro Center

• The Hercules Teen Youth Council (T.Y.C) is bringing you the 10th Annual Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza. Children will enjoy timeless spring activities such as: arts and crafts, face painting, and everyone's favorite, an egg hunt! Bring your favorite egg basket and come join us for this Hercules tradition! Register now and save on the admission price for your child. Space is limited! Register online at www.herculesrec.com. Tickets are $7.00 before March 24, and $10.00 the day of the event.

Rec Expo – Saturday, April 30, from 10:00am-2:00pm, at the Hercules Community/Swim Center

• Learn about new programs and activities and get a jump start on Summer registration!

Community Clean Up Day – Saturday, May 7, from 8:00am-11:00am at the City Corp Yard, 1000 Sycamore Avenue

• Event is free to Hercules residents – dumpsters available to drop off outdoor trash, yard clippings, tree limbs, small appliances, furniture, and E-waste including fluorescent light bulbs and batteries.
• Volunteers needed for Community Clean Up Day! The City needs 140+ volunteers to assist withthis free event for our residents. Volunteer shifts are from7:30am-11:30am, or until cleaned up, on May 7. Volunteers needed onsite at the Corp Yard and forclean-up in City parks.
