PINOLE, CA — A car fire on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 at Pinole Valley Road in Pinole started a grass fire Friday afternoon.
There were no injuries.
The California Highway Patrol reports that the right hand lane was blocked for a short time.

The fire is out and traffic is flowing smoothly.
FIRE at I-80 E/B in PINOLE. A car became disabled & caught fire on the shoulder, catching the hillside on fire. Thankfully the driver escaped with no injuries.
