I-80 Crash Victim Identified
She was killed Wednesday afternoon in a single-vehicle, rollover crash.
PINOLE, CA —A woman who died in a single-vehicle highway crash in Pinole on Wednesday has been identified as 20-year-old Michelle Cox of Vallejo, according to the Contra Costa County coroner's office.
Cox was killed when her car overturned on eastbound Interstate Highway 80 near the Appian Way off-ramp at about 12:50 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Cox, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
