Missing Elderly Pinole Man Found in San Francisco
The 79-year-old that wandered away from his care home Tuesday was found in San Francisco Wednesday night.
PINOLE, CA- Police have found an elderly man who went missing from a Pinole care home Tuesday night.
San Francisco police reported to Pinole police at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday that they had found Johnny Herron, a 79-year-old man who suffers from dementia.
Herron, who resided in San Francisco and is not from the Pinole area, initially walked away from a care home in the 800 block of San Pablo Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, police said.

He was found Wednesday night in good health but was taken to a nearby hospital for an evaluation as a precaution, police said.
