More BART Stations Close Due to Refinery Fire
Service halted at three stations after fire reported.
Service at BART's Richmond, El Cerrito Del Norte and El Cerrito Plaza stations has been shut down Monday night in response to a and shelter-in-place warning.
The shutdown followed the 6:40 p.m. report of a fire at the Chevron refinery in Richmond. The Richmond-bound trains are stopping at the North Berkeley station.
There is currently no bus bridge, according to BART police.
