Pinole Coffee with a Cop: Building Trust with the Community
The next Coffee with a Cop will be on Wednesday, August 9.

From the City of Pinole: “It brings us back to our roots and the core of policing; getting out of our vehicles and engaging the community.”
-Chief Neil H. Gang
Community policing is the foundation for establishing relationships between the community and the police. The importance of trust between officers and residents is paramount for a safe community.
Coffee with a Cop is an opportunity for the police and the community members to come together in an informal, neutral environment to discuss community issues and build relationships. One of the keys to Coffee with a Cop's success is that it removes the physical barriers between officers and residents, and happens outside of the crisis situations that routinely define interactions between law enforcement officials and community members.
