Pinole, Hercules Warriors, A's Fans Advised to Take Public Transit

Officials at the O.co suggest BART and Capitol Corridor trains for both sporting events in Oakland.

Sports fans converging on the O.co Coliseum and Oracle Arena today for Oakland Athletics and Golden State Warriors games are being strongly encouraged to take public transit, team officials said today. Both BART and Capitol Corridor trains stop near the Coliseum, where the A’s are playing the Detroit Tigers, with the first pitch scheduled for 12:35 p.m.

The Warriors will play Game 5 of the NBA Western Conference Finals against the Houston Rockets later today, with tip-off scheduled for 6 p.m.

For those choosing to drive, parking at the Coliseum will cost $20 per car until 1 p.m. and $40 per car after that, according to A’s officials.
