Pinole Police Pedal for Funds in Support of Special Olympics

15 Pinole police officers will join in on a scenic bicycle ride across two bay area bridges, you can join in also!

PINOLE, CA- More than a dozen Pinole police officers will join in on a scenic bicycle ride and craft beer festival to pedal to raise funds for Special Olympics in just one month, and you can too.

The 7th Annual ‪‎Bike The Bridges‬ rides begins and ends at Waterfront Park in Martinez on June 12, cruising across both the Carquinez Bridge and Benicia Bridges with a 25 mile, 100k or century (100-mile) ride.

Rider registration includes all you can eat BBQ lunch hosted by 96H Brand Catering, a commemorative t-shirt and the option to purchase a discounted Brew Fest unlimited pour wristband for only $15 when you register here.

"We will once again be supporting the ride as part of the planning committee and over 15 Pinole PD employees will be donating their time as support staff during the ride, and of course, we will be fielding a team of cyclists for the ride," said Pinole PD officials in a social media post, "We have a goal of raising $5000 and recruiting 15 riders. We need your help reaching our goal, which will support 10 athletes for an entire year of training and competition."
