Friends and family of Patricia Vance Frumenti are mourning the longtime Pinole resident who died peacefully in her sleep on Sept. 27 at the age of 94. She was raised on a ranch in Oakley and married her husband, Frank Frumenti, in 1936.
Pat, as she was known to friends, loved gardening, hiking and traveling. She was a member of the Contra Costa Hills Hiking Club, according to Legacy.com. In addition to the outdoors, she enjoyed reading and volunteered often at the Pinole Valley Public Library until she moved to the Salem Lutheran Home in Oakland. No service is planned.
