Power Fully Restored In Pinole | All Schools Open Friday

PINOLE, CA — Pinole's Public Safety Power Shutoff nightmare is over — PG&E has restored all power to the community.
With the lights back on, all schools will reopen on Friday, October 11. Pinole Valley High School and Ellerhorst Elementary School in Pinole were both closed on Thursday because of the power shutoff.
The West Contra Costa Unified School District announced that schools in other communities will also reopen on Friday, including Madera Elementary School in El Cerrito, Olinda Elementary School in Richmond, and Kensington Elementary School in Kensington.

A total of 2,372 customers in Pinole lost power.
For residents who had food spoil because of the power shutoff, you may file a claim with PG&E. Your homeowners policy may also cover spoilage.
