San Pablo Man ID'd As Crash Victim

SAN PABLO, CA — The man killed in a car accident in Berkeley on Tuesday was identified by the Alamenda County Coroner's Office Thursday as Alexis Castaneda Rodriguez, 20, of San Pablo.

The solo-vehicle crash happened at the intersection of San Pablo and Ashby avenues at 9:20 a.m. Alexis Castaneda Rodriguez's vehicle hit a light post.

The investigation into the crash closed the intersection for several hours. It reopened shortly before 1:30 p.m., police said.
