SAN PABLO, CA —A man fatally shot last week in San Pablo has been identified by the Contra Costa County coroner's office as Shawn Tillis Jr., a 27-year-old from Antioch.
Officers had responded shortly before 3 a.m. last Friday to the shooting in the 1300 block of Rumrill Boulevard and tried to revive Tillis, but he died at the scene, police said.
Detectives investigating the shooting believe Tillis was targeted.
