Stolen Dirt Bike Recovered, Fight at the High School: Hercules Police Blotter

Identity Theft: On May 10, 2016, at 10:09 a.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Promenade reported, through the online reporting system, that someone accessed her personal information to obtain a mortgage loan.
Battery on School Grounds: On May 10, 2016, at 3:25 p.m., a School Resource Officer responded to a high school classroom for a fight between two females. The officer determined a 16 year old student punched a 15 year old. The investigation is still ongoing.

Vandalism to a Residence: On May 10, 2016, at 6:18 p.m., a resident in the 100 block of Farragut reported the rear patio slider of the residence had just been smashed. The resident saw two subjects, possibly juveniles, running away toward Coronado. This residence backs onto Coronado. The damage to the slider was consistent with that caused by a pellet from a BB gun.
Stolen Vehicle and Recovery: On May 10, 2016 at 8:21 p.m. a 14 year old resident from Amber Ct, called to report his Honda dirt bike was just stolen. The motorcycle was listed for sale and a subject arranged to meet the victim at the Amber Ct address. The suspect was told he could drive the bike in the court. Once the suspect was on the dirt bike he rode off down Turquoise. As the call was being dispatched, a Pinole Officer advised he had the dirt bike and rider at McDonalds in Pinole. The rider, 18 year old Miguel Angel Ochoa of Richmond, positively identified his dirt bike; and stated Ochoa was the person who stole the bike. Pinole arrested Ochoa and transported him to the Martinez Detention Facility. The dirt bike was returned to the owner.
