Three East Bay DMV Offices Now Open At 7 A.M. Most Days

EAST BAY, CA — Going to the DMV office fuels nightmares for some people of long lines, hours-long waits and mounting frustration. The DMV hears you and is now opening three East Bay offices at 7 a.m. four days a week to allow you to check that errand off your to-do list before you even get to work. Only on Wednesday will the offices continue to open at 9 a.m.

The early-opening East Bay offices are in Fremont, Oakland-Claremont and El Cerrito, if you work close to any participating locations.

If the 7 a.m. opening doesn't help, remember that 62 DMV offices are open on Saturdays. Here are the California DMV offices with Saturday hours.
