Woman Arrested for Stolen U-Haul Truck (Police Log)

Traffic Collision: On May 3, 2013, at 8:42, an officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Rock Harbor Way. The reporting party stated a non-injury traffic collision that occurred yesterday at 6:45pm. The responsible vehicle struck a parked car, causing minor damage to both vehicles. The involved parties spoke last night and agreed to contact the police today
RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY: On May 3, 2013, at 7:32 p.m., a resident from the 1000 Salt Spray Terrace called to report his residence was burglarized. The burglary occurred sometime between 8:31 a.m. and 6:59 p.m. The point of entry was an open front door. The loss was small electronics.
WARRANT ARREST: On May 3, 2013, at 7:56 p.m., an officer stopped a green Toyota Corolla, in the 600 block of Parker Road, for an equipment violation. The passenger, 22 year old Bakari Waters of Vallejo, had a misdemeanor warrant out of Vallejo. Waters was arrested and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

DEFRAUDING AN INNKEEPER: On May 4, 2013, at 12:12 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a business in the 800 block of Willow Ave. The reporting party said an adult female customer left without paying for the bill ($139.00). Security followed female to a vehicle, and she drove out of the area.
RECOVERED OCCUPIED STOLEN VEHICLE: On May 4, 2013, at 1:32 a.m. an officer observed a U-Haul truck parked, in the lot of a business, in the 800 block of Willow Avenue. A records check revealed the vehicle was a reported stolen out of Alameda. There was a solo occupant in the driver’s seat. 33 year old Victoria Martinez, of Rodeo, was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle, and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Vandalism: On May 4, 2013, at 1:04pm, an officer was dispatched to the 200 block of Forest Run. The reporting party said her vehicle was “keyed” sometime between the morning of 5/2/13 and the time of call.
Mail Theft: On May 4, 2013, at 4:02pm, an officer was dispatched to HPD for a lobby detail. The reporting party someone stole mail from her mailbox, in the 100 block Lilac Cir. The incident occurred during the early part of April. The reporting party said she was expecting two checks that she never received. The person that sent the checks learned from her bank that those checks had been cashed. The amount and payee’s name had been changed.
MENTAL HEALTH EVALUATION: On May 4, 2013, at 9:23 p.m. HPD officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Maple Ct. The reporting party said an adult female was hearing, and seeing, things that were not there. She was also being violent with family. Officers determine the female met the criteria for a Mental Health Evaluation. The female was transported, by ambulance, to the County Regional Health Center.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL: On May 5, 2013, at 1:25 a.m. an officer stopped a white Mitsubishi, at Hawthorne and Vaqueros, for an equipment violation. The driver displayed signs of intoxication. 21 year old Jacklynn Adams, of American Canyon, was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol. She was later cited released to a responsible party.
